Forget about those hefty equipment you see at hospitals to monitor a patient, a new technology, epidermal electronic system (EES) is a hair-thin electronic patch that could be used for medical sensing, computer gaming and even for spying.
The device can check your heart rate, brain activity, muscle contractions and physical rehabilitation etc. It acts like a temporary tattoo and does not need any adhesive or pins, instead forces called van der Waals interactions dominate the adhesion at the molecular level, so the electronic tattoos adhere to the skin without any glues and stay in place for hours. If placed on throat it can be used to operate voice controlled video games with better than 90 percent accuracy.
