Today Microsoft gave a preview of Windows 8. This new version has some new huge changes, the biggest since Windows 95. Including a new user interface, some ‘new’ developing languages and build in social network support. And the best of all: you can download it later tonight! Be sure to check again for download links. According to Microsoft this would be the biggest change in Windows for years. This version contains the Metro interface that is used in the Zune HD and Windows Phone 7. This version contains a few new web based developing languages (html 5, Javascript and css) but the old languages are still available in Windows 8.
This version will have build in social network support like they did on Windows Phone 7 Mango trough Windows Live. The social network would probably be Facebook linkedIn and Twitter.
Not only the interface changed, Microsoft did some big improvements in the kernel. They lowered the boot time and added support for ARM cpu’s.
