David Haye set to retire

Former World Heavyweight Champion David Haye will announce his retirement from boxing.  He told British Boxing Board of Control (BBBC)  that he did not want to renew his license. He vowed to hangup his gloves by his 31st birthday, but many of his fans and journalist had expected him to delay his retirement for at least 1 big fight. Haye win his world title in 2009 by beating Russian Nikolay Valuev on points.

Haye last fight was against Wladimir Klitschko in which he loses his world title. BBBC board Secretary told Sun that “I received an email on Monday advising me Haye would not be carrying on. “
