iPad 3: 42 percent of iPad owners want to change to new model, according to a survey

ipad 3Apple has not released the latest iPad model yet but it has already found a number of buyers. According to a survey by PriceGrabber up to 42 percent of all iPad owners wants to switch to the new model - no matter whether it’s iPad 3 or iPad HD it is hot on the cards. The survey was conducted between 23 February and 2 March. 1829 online buyers from the USA participated.

Of these, 22 percent already owned a tablet - and 52 percent an iPad. 39 percent of buyers plan to strike before the end. A whole year to give yourself another 30 percent. 20 percent want to keep the device but in the first month, 11 percent even in the first week in their hands.

The specific expectations of buyers, however, little cover with the plans of Apple, so far as is known. For example, 54 percent want a price cut - but reportedly the new model because of its high-definition display will turn out about $ 80 more expensive. And 52 percent more battery life than the desired 10 hours of iPad 2 - but in the third generation of well-integrated LTE cellular technology and the larger display is more likely to provide shorter maturities.Other customers desires are a slot for SD cards and an HDMI port - two elements that are not likely to appear in the new iPad, unless Apple does not completely change its strategy.
