Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini said the win against WestBrom that there is no chance his team can win the Premier League title this season. His statement comes after United lost against Wigan and lost points which left only 5 points gap between City and United, with a game to play between these two sides at City home ground.
So the question remains Is Mancini gave up on title, well i don’t think so he is just trying to gave his side the edge and ease pressure from them by playing mind games. The title race has just came alive after Wigan’s sock victory over United. And at this weekend when City play Norwich they can close the gap on United because United play on Sunday against Aston Villa which is a tough fixture. So If City gains all three points against Norwich and United again drops points then the title will be surely decided at the Manchester Derby.
City manager said in the pre match press conference that Norwich game was difficult than United. May be Roberto Mancini just realized that he had to play these mind games to keep his sides title hopes alive, but he has to be careful because United manager Alex Ferguson is known as the master of Mind games.
