Robin Van Persie is in the top form for Arsenal this season.
Arsenal inspirational skipper Robin Van Persie is at the top of the transfer list of Barcelona. He is the top scorer in the Premier league this season, and with his contract runs out at the end of next season with Arsenal and no deal is finalized yet it looks like that he is gonna follow the foot steps of his friend Cesc Febregas and join the Catalan giants.
Barcelona lost their La Liga crown to their arch rivals Real Madrid this season and knocked out of the Champions League semifinals. And you can imagine now they are gonna sign some top names this season to regain the top spot in the Spain and Europe.
Van Persie scored 33 goals this season so far and was the main men in Arsene Wenger Arsenal side that overturn their disastrous start of the season and now are on the third spot in the Premier League table above their London rivals Spurs and Chelsea. Even though Wenger will not let his captain go cheap but with just one year left in his contact 30 Million pound bid should be enough to land the highly rated Dutch striker.
Barcelona also want Man City captain Kompnay, as a replacement of Carlos Puyol.
Other summer targets for Barcelona this summer are Tottehnam’s Gareth Bale, Santos striker Neymar and Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany. Puyol is over aged according to Barcelona think thank and Kompany is the perfect replacement for him. But Kompany’s deal looks unlikely because Man City are not willing to lose any of their top players this summer.
