Highly rated Dutch and Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben will quit the Allianz Arena this summer accoring to reports in England and Germany.
The reports suggest that the talks between Bayern Munich and Arjen Robben fell through about him signing a contract extension with the German giants. Man City, Liverpool, Inter Milan and Tottehnam are on red alert after this news and wants to sign the Dutch winger.
Robben is on the verge of signing a deal with Bayern till the end of 2015, but according to news papers in Germany Robben will not sign the deal after the bust up with team mate Frank Ribery. Bust up between two Bayern stars happen in the second leg of Champions League semifinal against Real Madrid, both argued on who will take the free kick and that argue turn into a fight in the dressing room at half time. Team mate separated the two at that time.
Robben was not happy with the way Bayern deal with this incident. Bayern fined Ribery 40,000 pounds after the fight, which is only 25% of his weekly wage. This is the main reason Robben didn’t want to sign the deal.
Robben deal with Bayern ends on the end of 2013 season in summer, so Bayern will sell him if he don’t sign the contract with them this summer. Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness confirmed this news and said “All I know is that he was just about to put pen to paper, and now that has all been postponed.”
