Italy beat Germany in the semi final of Euro 2012 thanks to Mario Balotelli two first half goals. This was the 15th time Italy beat Germany in a major tournament and they yet has to lose to them. Now Italy will face the defending and World Champions Spain on 1st of July.
Balotelli gave Italy the lead in the 20th minute of the match, through a brilliant header. Then in the 36th minute of the match he beats the off side trap and scored his second goal it was a classical finish. Even German goal keeper was impressed by Mario’s goal.
After that Germany tried really hard to score the goal but it was Gigi Buffon who keeps denying them by making some excellent saves. Germany pulled a goal back in the dying minutes of the match through the Mesut Ozil penalty, but it was too late. As match ended with the scored of 2-1.
