4,181 miles to demonstrate your skills

Would you be able to stay at your best if you had to take a journey with two of your friends, a journey 4,181 miles long, filled with challenges and of course tension that they can cause you.

That’s exactly what eight teams, all wishing to become food truck operators, will be going through when the new season of The Great Food Truck Race premieres on Food Network on Sunday, August 18th at 9pm ET/PT. Filled with enthusiasm, great cooking skills, creativity and business in the back of their minds, the eight teams will be starting the seven-episode competition under Hollywood sign.

Each of the teams will be getting their own custom-made food truck, but in the end, only one of them will be able to keep it together with $50 000 prize money. But in order to be the one left standing in the end, they will always have to be at their best from every side and make sure it shows.

“Our competitors have to demonstrate top-notch cooking abilities and an entrepreneur’s creativity and business skills. It all makes for a food-filled road trip that delivers a life-changing grand prize to the winner,” said Bob Tuschman, General Manager and Senior Vice President, Food Network.

The show is produced by Food Network, hosted by Tyler Florence, and this is the fourth season of the show. Interested in more information about it? Check out FoodNetwork.com/FoodTrucks.
