(CNN) -Although no official announcement has been made, multiple reports suggest Apple is planning an introduction event for the so-called iPhone 5 on September 12.
Speculation on new and improved features to the current iPhone 4S include a slightly larger screen, a smaller dock connector and technology making it easier for shoppers to make payments through their phones.
Apple-oriented blog iMore said the rumored iPad Mini will be unveiled at the event.
