Galaxy R: The little brother of the SII

Samsung announced the newest member off the  Galaxy family: the Galaxy R. This new phone is the European and Asian version off the Galaxy Z that was only released in Sweden. The Galaxy R runs on a Tegra 2 processor from Nvidea

This new phones really is the small brother of the Galaxy SII. Both phones have a dual core processor but this one is from Nvidea instead of Samsungs own cpu. It would be a little bit slower then his “big brother” because the cpu is 1 ghz dual core instead of 1.2 ghz dual core.  This new phone has no Super Amoled plus screen but a Super Clear LCD screen instead with a  WVGA (800 x 480) resolution. It will run on Android 2.3 gingerbread with the TouchWiz interface.

This phone would be cheaper then the Galaxy SII but its still an High End smartphone with the same cpu as the Optimus 2x speed from Lg and the Motorola Artix.
