Apple’s latest iPhone 5 and Samsung’s Galaxy S III are the most powerful smart phones in the world right now. We compare both Smart Phones and see which one has the edge on the other one.
iPhone 5 is the sixth iPhone of Apple and also the most recent one. It’s weight is only 112 g (3.95oz) , and it’s operating system is iOS 6. iPhone 5 body is 7.7 mm thick and the screen size of iPhone 5 is 4 inch which is also much larger than iPhone 4s. Apple company used ARM Cortex-A15 Mp Core processor in their latest iPhone 5, which is the one of the most powerful one now a days.
Its front camera is 1.5 MP and also make HD Video. While Rear Camera is 8 Mp and make HD video (1080)p. iPhone 5 will support 4G LTE network which is the fastest in the world and it needs a Nano Sim which is much smaller than the micro-Sim which was used in iPhone 4s. iPhone 5 is available in 16Gb, 32GB and 64 GB.
The Battery life of iPhone 5 is much better than the previous iPhone’s. It gives the talk time of approx eight hours and stand by time of iPhone 5 is 9 to 10 days.
Samsung’s Galaxy S III was a big hit since it was launched in May 2012. This is the third phone of Galaxy S Series.The screen size of Galaxy S III is 4.8 inch. The operating system that Galaxy S 3 had is Android 4.0.4. Ice cream Sandwich. It has the processor of 1.4 GHz quad-core, which is the most powerful one.
It has 1 GB ram and it’s memory is 16GB and 32 GB. galaxy is launching it’s 64Gb in October. The front camera of Galaxy S III is 1.9 MP and has the HD Video feature while it’s Rear Camera has 8.0 MP and HD Video (1080p). The Galaxy S III supports the fastest cellular network which is 4G LTE just like iPhone 5. But this was the first phone which came with this feature.
Our Verdict :
After comparing both phones it’s clear that Apple’s new iPhone 5 has only upgraded their old features. But didn’t introduced anything new. Basically they are riding of the legacy that Jobs has made them.
While on the other hand Samsung Galaxy S III came with many different features like 4G LTE technology. iPhone also has this technology now but the Galaxy was the first phone to come with this technology.
Apple only upgraded their iOS and the appearance of the phone. Which is more slimmer and lighter now. They didn’t came up with anything which can make them a dominant force in Smart Phone industry.
